Snots and Dots

I haven't talked about these guys for a long time.  In case you don't remember, I set up one of my 190 gallon containers outside and added 23 little bitty Snots and 5 Adult Dots.  Just for fun I threw in a crown tail betta.  I haven't been able to see to the bottom of this tank forever.  It's a green water factory!  The only time I see the occasional dot it is not a fish but a splash of water left by an Anabatiod coming up for a gulp of air.  The only reason I know that the Betta is alive is that I have not yet seen him floating.  If I pull up a sponge I might find a Snot or two attached to it or inside the lift tube.  They have really grown!!!!!

I feed this tank sometimes once, sometimes twice a day.  The snots get a fresh zuke when pieces of chewed up skins float to the top.  Today I was peering into the water and I saw tiny little white things moving around.  I have no idea what they are.  I thought that it was may be Dot fry, but when I picked a Zucchini skin off the top of the water they appeared to be walking on the skin, not swimming.  What could they be?  I'm hoping that the fish hunt them.  Even grown dots have tiny mouths and will hunt BBS.  Don't know about the Betta.  The Snots have it made.
Always move forward. Never look back.

84.5 right now.  It gets hot afternoon sun.  I have a heater in there for when the temps drop at night but it's never on during the day.
