I thought I would share some pictures of my snakeskin plats. This is a project I have been working on for the past 1 1/2 years. Neil/Hipon in Hawaii discovered the trait and started working with them. He got involved in other projects and sent me the original pairs for me to work with.

I am getting good patterns on the second generation. It takes until they are silver dollar size before it starts to pop out, but I am thrilled that I am getting so much more coverage then the original pairs had. I expect to have varied amount of coverage on the fish, but I think in the latest work that most of the spawn will have the pattern.

I'm impressed.  When do you expect to have some of these for sale?

thank you for the compliments. I have been selling these for a while now. I have them in various sizes. On aquabid I have a few auctions under the name of baskington. You can buy privately from me, but that will give you an idea of pricing.

Again not to sound like a broken record Carol, but I wish the shipping to the northwest was not so bad.  Have my eye on that blue marble pair you have.

well overnight is expensive no matter where you are. Most boxes for a pair are $55 to $65. It is much better value when you get 4 in a box. I hate how expensive it is to ship a couple adults. I can ship a large box for around $95 which is much more cost effective. Larger the box the bigger discount I get, but most people can't take advantage of it.
