Title: Sunday…very early
Post by: Ron Sower on February 19, 2023, 02:21:28 AM
Good morning all!...

The last few days have been crazy...a lot of fish room work... I've had to reset some shelves and move things around a lot to get all these tissue cultures in place... I also had to move fish around. to accommodate some new ones I have brought in... And I still need to rearrange some shelf lighting... not to mention that I have price sheets and stuff like that to update...

The weather here has been warm today after several days of clouds and cool temps in the 50s...

Barb, it's so good to see you back here, and to know that you didn't get sick, and if the boat didn't catch on fire way out at sea! ;D I'm happy you're not going to need a hip replacement...my back is still bothering me and I need to take sometime to get it diagnosed and start working on fixing it...

We're beginning to get a little stir crazy, and are ready for a trip somewhere, but every time we start looking at places to go weather is as cool as it is here, unfortunately... We are planning to leave 17 March to go to Tacoma for a granddaughter's birthday....back on 2st... We haven't been with her on her birthday for several years now... And of course it's gonna be raining & cool up there I'm sure...

My boesmani and parkinsoni rainbows are brilliantly colored up right now...they are a joy to watch... I got in more pea puffers last week...those little gems are so cute and fun to watch...

Well, I gotta get some sleep...I have some plant and fish buyers coming at 11am tomorrow...take care...

Good morning Ron and the rest of you later on here. Your hobby plant business is really moving right along, glad it is doing so well Ron.  How many hours a day are you working on it, generally?  I know what you mean about traveling, I get the same way.  I just booked another cruise for next Jan. Have one this Aug. too.  And flying to MN this July, and hope to drive to see Liz in April, if my back problem is better by then. I start PT in a couple more weeks.  Sure hope they can help my back. 2023 is a big travel year for me.

In the next few days I am putting my young discus into my 75 gal. tank that has just 4 adults in it now.  Will do all I can to make it work, with all fingers crossed.

It is cold here, about 32 last night.  So many things are blooming or leafing out here, probably too early, but the recent warm temps, have fooled them into thinking Spring is here.  It is not!
Have a good day you all,
Barb

Hi everyone. I woke up with chills this morning but no fever or cough and it eventually passed. I have not been sleeping well so that may have something to do with it.

I missed a planned breakfast with a couple of neighbors and they were blowing up my phone while I was in the shower. I forgot to put the breakfast in my phone calendar so I didn't get an alert. huh

It was cold to start the day here. We are in the high 50s at the moment and next week we may actually hit 70 on one day. huh

I am actually moving around good now but it was a wasted day as far as I am concerned. Hopefully you guys had a more productive day.

Wishing you all a great evening.

I friends.  It was a good day here.  It hit 70 and it will tomorrow, too.  I actually cleaned house today some.
I beat throw rugs, swept, and cleaned the kitchen.  I still need to vacuum dust, and mop.  I'll do my best to make myself do it tomorrow, but I may not be in the mood.  I have the dentist at 10.

Good morning everyone. I am up and ready to go at 5:30. I can't waste much time because I have to get this house in shape. I'll start with the kitchen and work my way into the family room. Since bathrooms have to be pristine I probably won't do them until Thursday. The easiest rooms to do is my bedroom and the guestroom/office.

Things with Kobe have settled down and he is mostly happy and eating well. He sleeps a lot where as he used to be the "Energizer Bunny" but occasionally he wants to play. I have to be careful not to let him get overly excited.

On the weather front, it is 38 degrees and going up to 60 this afternoon. On Wednesday we will hit a high of 70F. That is ridiculous for February. We will get rain overnight and I suspect the dandelions will be sprouting at any moment.

Any way, everyone have a great day and I'll check in later.
