Title: Following Saturday comes Sunday
Post by: Ron Sower on July 31, 2022, 10:45:45 AM
Hello everyone...

After we got the leaky 125 out of here yesterday at 5pm we ate dinner and went to the clubhouse to a party one of our friends threw...she had a total string ensemble for the music...it was fun...after that we went to another couple's house to mix with some newer acquaintances and friends...after an hour there we dropped by another couple's that we've been doing some things with...they're were playing UNO with another couple we were slightly acquainted with...we stayed and played....that was the most fun of the evening!!!;D

Then I couldn't go to sleep...until after 3am... ugh...  :'( :'( :'(. I'm pretty groggy this morning and see the rare event of a nap in todays future!...

While I was playing last night, my partner located some corkscrew Val, which we desperately need, on Facebook... I'll be heading out to get it in a few minutes....

We had some serious rain yesterday afternoon...flash flooding in areas...we're good though...so far...

I hope all of you have great day....

Well...I picked up the plants and they are really nice ones from a hobbyist...corkscrew val...and I bunched them in groups of 5 which is how we sell them...

Good evening Ron and everyone. We finally got the rain that we've been waiting for. That should cover our rain needs this week, or so I hope.

I've been pretty busy in the fishroom most of the day. I started off with the water changes on big tanks and then I moved to the Ram and Guppy tanks and of course things that are supposed to be routine sometimes go sideways on you.

The heater in the Pitch Black breeding tank went bad on me. No casualties but it stopped heating and the temp was 73 degrees. Rams are not going to breed at that temp. huh When I checked in the other tanks to try to find a replacement I noticed that I have a couple more suspect heaters.

My basement temp is 73 degrees and aside from my snots and maybe the Guppies none of my other fish like the temp that low. There is no way to turn up the basement temp because it is controlled by the same thermostat as the rest of the house. I'll be shopping for heaters tomorrow.

Other than that it's been a pretty good day. This week is going to be a pretty busy house cleaning week. I have company coming through over the next few weekends and I've got to get this house in order. Even for me it is unacceptable so I can only imagine what my daughter will say or do. huh

Glad you got your Vals Ron. Have a great night everyone.
