Title: Last Monday 2021
Post by: wsantia1 on December 27, 2021, 09:30:43 AM
Good morning everyone. Now that I am rested I can focus on things that I have to do today and the rest of the week. On the weather front, we are currently at 38 degrees and will go up to a high of 41F this afternoon. We have a 73% chance of precip today but at the current temps it will be in the form of rain.

Now that the Christmas holiday is over and my attention has turned to 2022 I want to evaluate how and what I want to do in my fishroom. I'm thinking of downsizing the tanks some more so I need to evaluate what I really want to keep. I need to keep only what I really like the most as a hobbyist. I realize that I can't keep every species that I like so I want to keep only those that I like the best.

I will do  some fishroom work this morning and zero in on my invertebrate and guppy tanks. The cichlids will get all of my attention tomorrow. I have to remain diligent on not overdoing anything these days because one wrong move and I be back to square one. I'm like a slow moving train instead of a speeding locomotive these days. mim

Wishing you all a great day.

Good morning Willie.  I'm glad to hear that you've recovered from your trip and you are feeling well.  My biggest problem is that when I feeling good it's easy to do too much what with all I have to do and can't get to.  I did a lot for 2 days in a row and it took me 2 days to recover.  Today I'm feeling well again.

I've got BN, snails and shrimp bagged up and ready to go to Ken and Twee.  I need to pick up a few more bottles of Stability and a couple of Aqueon Pro 200 watt heaters.  When I get home I'll get some fish room work done.  I'm FINALLY ready to do more cloroxing.  I just couldn't stand the thought of smelling all the chorine fumes until today.

Barb, you said that you'd be busy today.  Hope you fine time to check in with us.  Ron, what's up with you and Miss Lucy?  Still cold there?  It'll hit 78 again today.  But rain may come in tomorrow.

Hello folks!...

50 out there right now and going to 59...about the same forecast as yesterdays, but it got up to 65 instead...Today there is a cloud cover so it may just be 59...we're expecting 2 more storm systems to pass through in the next few days which should leave us a little rain and the snow in the higher elevations...these weathermen and weatherwomen really get excited about rain here! ;D ;D ;D

Willie and Liz...it's good you're felling well today!...How about you Barb?...

I didn't get any WC done yesterday, but I cleaned up a few things in the fishroom...today I will get at least 1 WC done...

Last night as I was shutting down the lights in the fishroom I noticed that there weren't many Daphnia swimming around in their tank...they crashed!...there are a few left and I hope they come back...I think this happens with Daphnia a lot...

Yesterday I suggested to Lucy that we go to Organ Stop Pizza, so we called friends and met them there....it was our first visit and was loads of fun...They boast the world's largest Wurlitzer organ!...the organist was great and played requests...no sheet music at all!...Of course we had to request Phantom of the Opera since we saw it on Broadway one year...  https://organstoppizza.com/

I hope all of you have a good and happy aquariuming day today!... |^|
