Title: Weird Pairing
Post by: wsantia1 on September 12, 2021, 03:38:11 PM
I have an Albino Platinum Pearlscale female (from Liz' line) who has paired with a One Eyed Koi male (lost eye in fight with brother).

They are in a community tank with 4 other Plat Albino's.

She's laying eggs but and he is trying to fertilize but is missing the spot. Any fry resulting from this spawn would be 50% Gold and 50% Gold Marble.

I guess Love Is Really Blind.

Greg it could be GM/GM. In that case the Genotype would be Gm/g - S/+ - +/pb - +/p and the Phenotype would be 100% Gold Marble. Thanks for pointing that out.

Either way you will get some interesting offspring if you decide to do a sib cross.
