Title: NEW PAIR
Post by: ghonk on January 05, 2019, 08:10:26 PM
Picking up next weekend.
Albino Blue Glitter Veil.

Not a huge fan of veils,so my plan is to find a blue silver standard fin with glitter.
IDEALLY an outstanding one with HEAVY Glitter/Snakesin,hopefully increasing it in the offspring since i'm doing the  cross anyway.

Then choosing the offspring with the best glitter coverage, for a sibling cross to get some albinos again.

That would be even better, might not have to wait till next gen to get albinos.

Thanks Liz.
Hopefully they won't be any harder to raise then the albino dantums.

Brain fart.
I'm thinking I would get a 50/50 mix of  Veil and Super veil from my veil pair.

Not the case,but.

50% veil.
25% super veil.
25% standard.

So not a NECESSITY to get a standard fin fish for a cross to get standard fin offspring.
But a standard blue silver with  EXELLENT glitter/snakeskin coverage would still be nice, avoiding  a sibling cross, and producing non albinos for those who don't know what they are missing   .  ;D

Got them yesterday, female starting picking on the male and had him pinned in the corner right away.
Guy I got them  from said they were cleaning the day before,so maybe that's why she is acting so weird.
Had to put a divider in there before she tore him up,hope this doesn't end up being a problem pair, last thing I need.

Wow the glitter coverage on them is pretty spectacular.
Can't wait to raise some standard fins from them,i will want to keep all of them. ;D

Makes me want to do the cross to get albino plats even more.
This way it has the potential for FULL coverage  with no stripes to interrupt it.

Thanks Joel.
They have been a minor  disaster so far.
That's all they want to do is beat each other up.
A problem pair is the last thing I need right now.
Wouldn't be as bad if I had a bunch of other adults, could let them repair to others that might be more compatible.
